FAQs

Does Emma Mattress have a new customer discount code?

Emma is currently offering an extra 5% discount when you sign up for both emails and texts, so it's well worth doing! To get your promo code, head to the Emma website, wait for the pop-out box to appear offering you the discount and add your email address.

Does Emma Mattress offer a sleep trial?

Emma currently offers a 200-night sleep trial on its mattresses and beds which is a great way to test out a new sleep surface and see if the brand’s products are right for you. It also offers a 100 night sleep trial for its mattress topper, 30 nights for pillows and weighted blankets, and 14 nights for duvets and mattress protectors. If you don’t find the Emma product you choose quite the right fit, you can contact the brand’s customer service team to arrange a free collection.

Is there an Emma Mattress student discount?

Emma Mattress has teamed up with Student Beans and currently offers 2 student discounts. One is an extra 5% discount on orders and the other is 5% off Emma Freshers Bedroom Set (which includes a topper, pillow and a duvet). To bag these discounts, head to the Student Beans website and verify your student status.

Is there an Emma Mattress NHS discount?

On the Emma Mattress website, there's a Key Worker Discount page which shows that the retailer offers an additional 6% off orders for people who work in healthcare, education, care, and emergency services. Head to this page and follow the links to get your discount code.

Does Emma Mattress offer a guarantee?

Emma offers a 10-Year Guarantee scheme on both mattresses and beds (unless stated on the product page), so you can buy your new mattress with complete confidence. If you have any issues in that time that are in line with the guarantee T&Cs, contact the Emma customer service team with a picture of the problem and they'll arrange to swap your mattress for a new one.

How do you return an Emma Mattress order?

As it can take a few days to get used to a new sleep setup, Emma recommends taking advantage of the sleep trials it offers on most of its products. This is so that you can give your new product a thorough test out before you initiate a return. However, if you decide a product isn’t for you then the brand offers free returns. Simply contact the customer service team or use the brand’s self-service returns portal to arrange a collection. One of the collection companies Emma works with (either the British Heart Foundation, Debra or Keen & Able) will then contact you via telephone within 2-3 working days to organise a suitable date for collection. The brand aims to process refunds within 14 days of the pick up.

Will Emma Mattress take my old mattress away?

Although we’d generally recommend hanging on to your old mattress until you’re sure that you’re happy with the new one, Emma does provide the option to have your old mattress taken away when the brand delivers your new one. This service costs an additional £39 and needs to be added to your cart on the checkout page, as it cannot be added to your order retrospectively.

Hints and tips

While Emma voucher codes are a great way to save money on your order, there are also other ways to cut the cost of your purchase.

Wait for a sale: If you’re looking to score an Emma Mattress deal or save money on the brand’s bedding then the good news is that you’ll find regular sales events happening on the website. What’s more, discounts are usually super generous, with up to 50% off being a fairly common occurrence. You’ll never have to wait too long for a sale, with Emma generally running a promotional event of some kind every few weeks. Sales tend to happen around ‘special’ times of the year, like Bank Holidays, Easter, Christmas, and New Year, as well as general spring, summer and winter events.

Shop on Black Friday: Like many mattress manufacturers, Emma tends to cut its prices drastically on Black Friday to drive pre-Christmas sales. The term Black Friday originated in the US to denote the first day following Thanksgiving when retailers would cut prices to draw holidaymakers to shop their store's sales. Driven by global brands, the price-slashing event soon crossed the pond, and now Black Friday – closely followed by Cyber Monday – has become one of the UK's biggest consumer extravaganzas, rivalling traditional Boxing Day sales. The price-slashing event happens each year on the last Friday of November, although Emma has been known to start its Black Friday discounting early, with great deals running on the Simba website throughout the whole month of November.

Sign up for the newsletter: Many of our favourite websites offer a nice sweetener when you sign up to receive their newsletter, and Emma quite frequently offers newsletter subscribers exclusive offers (like an extra 5% off your first order which is running right now). Plus, the newsletter will keep you in the loop about current and upcoming discounts and sales.

Keep an eye on social media: As well as signing up for the brand’s newsletter, it can be well worth keeping an eye on Emma’s social media channels to get alerts for discounts and sale events. It’s also a great way to hear about any special offers or competitions the brand may be running.

What to buy from Emma

Armed with a discount code but wondering what to shop for? Well, Emma’s mattresses are the real star of the show here.  We put the brand's best value mattress to the test in our Emma Original mattress review and found it certainly didn’t disappoint, with our reviewer describing it as 'delivering on promises of body support and partner disturbance thanks to its motion-isolation memory foam top layer, and stating that it goes the extra mile when it comes to comfort’. A worthy winner of 5 out of 5 stars from our review team. The brand’s Premium mattress also scored highly when put to the test in our Emma Premium mattress review. This offering earnt 4.5 out of 5 stars, with our tester saying, ‘it's seriously good at cushioning, especially on the lower body. Breathable, and yet sturdy enough to insulate from an often restless bed partner, this mattress is the real deal if you're looking to invest in your sleep routine’.

However, that said, a good night's sleep isn't all about the mattress. What you put on it counts too, whether that's the best pillows for your preferred sleeping position, or a cloud-like duvet and Emma has the bedding solutions to do just that.

Plus, if you want to get your mattress and bedding all sorted in one fell swoop, then the brand’s bundles are well worth a shop. The basic bundles usually offer a mattress, pillows, and duvet, with the top-of-the-range bundles combining a bed base too – often for not much more than the mattress cost alone, so if you're furnishing a bedroom from scratch they can be well worth checking out.

How do we source promo codes and deals?

We have an Offers team that sources codes and deals from affiliate networks and from researching the web. The codes are tested to see if they work and then added to the retailer pages, alongside sales, multi-buy deals, friend referral discounts and newsletter sign-up deals. The codes and offers are checked regularly to ensure they’re still live and working, and new deals are added multiple times a week, keeping the offer list fresh.

Alongside this, we have a Commercial team that works with the brands to secure exclusive discount codes. An exclusive code is an offer agreed upon by the brand that is the best in the market, it’s normally a limited-time-only offer so it’s worth snapping up when you see it.

We also have a Copywriting team who update the FAQs, Hints & Tips and Buyers Guides sections with additional information on how you can save money at each retailer, alongside answering other queries you may have.

What if my voucher code doesn’t work?

Although we have eyes on the pages checking the codes and offers are working, sometimes they expire early or the details change suddenly. If you do find a code that doesn’t work or an offer has expired, please feel free to get in contact and let us know at vouchers.idealhome@futurenet.com.

How do we make money?

When you click one of our offer links, a unique identifier is added that lets the retailer know that you’ve come from our Ideal Home discount code page. If you then buy something, we get a commission from the purchase. A commission is a small percentage of the money that you’ve spent on your item(s).

About Emma Mattress

Emma is one of the most searched-for mattress brands online, no doubt thanks to the brand’s affordable price points, convenient mattress-in-a-box delivery, plus its simplified approach to mattress shopping. At Emma, there are four mattress types to choose from, the Original which is an affordable pure foam mattress with a memory foam top layer, the Hybrid which adds a layer of supportive mini pocket springs to the mix, the Premium which swaps out the mini pocket springs for full size 12.5cm versions, and the brand’s latest Luxe Cooling mattress that is infused with what the brand refers to as temperature-regulating graphite. This curated product selection comes as a welcome relief amidst the bewildering array of mattress types and constructions available at other retailers. What’s more, the brand’s mattresses consistently score highly with customers, including our Ideal Home review team who have rated Emma mattresses as some of the best value mattresses available in our best mattress round-up.
