David and Victoria Beckham bid fairwell to 'Beckingham Palace' for a cool £15 million
The stunning Hertfordshire property - dubbed Beckingham Palace - has been snapped up by a new owner following Posh and Becks' decision to up sticks and move to London
David and Victoria Beckham snapped up the huge Hertfordshire home - which is actually called Rowneybury House - for £2.5 million after their wedding in 1999, but have now decided to part ways with the luxury pile as they make a new life for their family in London.
The Sawbridgeworth property is reported to have fetched a whopping £12 million (that's quite a profit!) and comes with Golden Balls' much-loved Ferrari, two Jaguar sports cars and a £2.6 million holiday home in France thrown in for good measure. Wowza!
Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, and Cruz, eight, all had the chance to call the 12-acre property their first home before the family moved to Madrid and then Los Angeles, following David's football career.
The couple are set to relocate to west London in an exciting 'new era' for the family, but they'll miss their iconic old house.
'David in particular was desperately sad to sell the family home as there are so many memories there,' a source told The Sun On Sunday.
'They have had years of happiness in the home, but practically now there is no need to keep it.'
The football legend and former Spice Girl are reportedly ready to splash out on a lavish £45 million four-storey mansion in London.
Famous friend Gordon Ramsay has reportedly been asked to design a state-of-the-art kitchen, while another well known pal, interior designer Kelly Hoppen, could help with the overall look. Jealous, us? Never.
Want something similar? You'd have to spend it like Beckham.
Loved this? Why not take a peek around Peter Andre's house, which is currently up for sale.
