FAQs
Does Wayfair have a new customer discount code?
New Wayfair customers can get £15 off their first order over £150. To get this deal, you just need to join the Wayfair mailing list. Scroll to the bottom of the Wayfair website and enter your email address in the box. Once you've subscribed, you'll be emailed your discount code.
When is the next Wayfair sale?
Wayfair runs sales all year round so you can always pick up a bargain. Alongside the Outlet and Open Box Deals sales, Wayfair has seasonal sales throughout the year, like Black Friday and Boxing Day, so make sure you check the website during key seasonal sale periods to find even more stock reduced.
Can I arrange for my furniture to be assembled by Wayfair?
Wayfair does offer a professional assembly and installation service, with a flat fee depending on the product. The service is provided by local professionals that Wayfair will have background checked, and the Wayfair Home Services Guarantee covers you for the quality of the work, so any issues can be resolved or a refund provided.
Does Wayfair have free delivery?
Yes, you can get free delivery from Wayfair if your order total comes to £40 or more. If your order is under that amount, the delivery charge is £4.99. Once you've paid for your order, Wayfair will send you tracking information to let you know when your order will be arriving to your chosen location.
Does Wayfair offer free returns?
No, it doesn’t, although Wayfair can arrange to collect and return the product for you. This service costs between £4.99-£9.99 for small parcels, and between £20-£50 for large parcels. Items should be returned in the original packaging if possible, or otherwise be well wrapped. Any refund will be processed once the item is returned.
How can I get a refund from Wayfair?
You can choose to have your refund as Store Credit (which never expires) or via your original payment method. In both cases, the cost of the return will be deducted from the refund amount. If you paid by bank card, your money should be returned within 3-5 days of the refund being processed. Payments made via Klarna, Paypal or Clearpay can take up to 2 weeks to be returned.
What happens if my item is damaged or has missing parts?
If there’s something wrong with your item when it arrives – if it’s been damaged in transit, say, or there are parts missing – then Wayfair will provide a replacement product or the missing parts at no extra cost. If you want to return the item instead, Wayfair won’t charge for collecting the item and will refund the cost within 5 days of pick-up. It’s recommended that you check your purchase when it’s delivered and report any issues within 30 days.
What payment methods does Wayfair accept?
You can pay for your Wayfair shopping with MasterCard, Visa, Electron, American Express, PayPal, ClearPay, Apple Pay and Klarna payments. Wayfair also has gift cards, so if you've received one you can also use that to pay for your order.
How can I contact Wayfair?
If you need to get in touch with the Wayfair customer service team you can give them a call on the following number: 08007 564835. They're available Monday - Sunday from 7am - 10pm.
Hints and tips
As well as our discount codes, here are some other ways to save money when you shop at Wayfair.
Shop the Wayfair Outlet page: Offering ‘deep discounts’ on end-of-line and overstock products, the Outlet page is a treasure trove for homes bargains. Discounts can range from just a few pounds to more than 60% off some buys, so it’s worth checking here before you head to the main part of the site to shop. Product availability is updated daily, so if you see something you want, it’s best to snap it up while you can.
Watch out for Warehouse sales: Similar to the Outlet page, Wayfair’s Warehouse sales offers discounts on hundreds of products. The discounts may not be as steep as in the Outlet but you’ll find cut-price products for every room in your home.
Check out the Open Box Deals: Wayfair offers discounts on good-as-new products that have been returned by previous customers. When you click on an item, you’ll see the sale price and how much it would cost to buy it new, so you can decide whether it’s worth making a saving or paying full price. Open Box products are covered by the original warranty.
Sign up for Wayfair emails: If you’re a new customer, you’ll be sent a discount of £15 off your first order over £150, and you’ll also be the first to hear about new offers, sales and promotions.
Refer your friends: Invite a friend to shop at Wayfair and when they make a purchase, they’ll receive £10 off their order over £50, and you’ll receive £10 in Wayfair rewards to spend as you wish.

What to buy from Wayfair
Wayfair really does cover every room in the house, but we think it’s particularly strong when you’re looking for outdoor living options, such as patio furniture ideas or garden furniture generally. It also has a wide range of outdoor lighting ideas, from solar-powered lanterns to plug-in festoons and statement garden floor lamps.
Inside the house, Wayfair is great for smaller accessories that can give your home an instant update from season to season. Coloured glassware, cosy rugs, interesting wall decor ideas and luxe pouffes are all worth looking at for quick-click style and affordability.
How do we source promo codes and deals?
We have an Offers team that sources codes and deals from affiliate networks and from researching the web. The codes are tested to see if they work and then added to the retailer pages, alongside sales, multi-buy deals, friend referral discounts and newsletter sign-up deals. The codes and offers are checked regularly to ensure they’re still live and working, and new deals are added multiple times a week, keeping the offer list fresh.
Alongside this, we have a Commercial team that works with the brands to secure exclusive discount codes. An exclusive code is an offer agreed upon by the brand that is the best in the market, it’s normally a limited-time-only offer so it’s worth snapping up when you see it.
We also have a Copywriting team who update the FAQs, Hints & Tips and Buyers Guides sections with additional information on how you can save money at each retailer, alongside answering other queries you may have.
What if my voucher code doesn’t work?
Although we have eyes on the pages checking the codes and offers are working, sometimes they expire early or the details change suddenly. If you do find a code that doesn’t work or an offer has expired, please feel free to get in contact and let us know at vouchers.idealhome@futurenet.com.
How do we make money?
When you click one of our offer links, a unique identifier is added that lets the retailer know that you’ve come from our Ideal Home discount code page. If you then buy something, we get a commission from the purchase. A commission is a small percentage of the money that you’ve spent on your item(s).
